The Nextgen Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication program provides students with the knowledge and skills to be innovative in their pursuit of journalistic development; develop an understanding and sensitivity to critical economic, political, and social issues of our time; and prepare them for a larger role in solving fundamental and complex problems in our society. This course will assist students in developing the awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to meet the diverse challenges of challenges that exist in today’s competitive media and business environment. This Nextgen program helps students in enhancing the skills for practically using different media products including blogs, digital audio, video, social media, photography, and multimedia channels.

Nextgen Journalism and mass communication is a highly creative field that offers opportunities to work in the thriving media and entertainment industries. After obtaining a degree, candidates can work as media consultants, journalists, content marketing managers, public relations specialists, social media managers, news analysts, photojournalists, animators, video editors, radio jockeys, video jockeys, broadcast producers, screenwriters, presenters, fashion photographers, TV correspondents, and others.
ELIGIBILITY
The Candidate shall be considered eligible if passed 10+2 or equivalent educational qualification from a recognized board of education in any stream with English as a compulsory subject with a minimum 50% aggregate marks.
